Feminista freedom.

A haven of equality with no prejudice to a gender or ethnicity. The feminist dream, or is it? The dream has evolved from equality to domination. It’s as if women are in a bid to avenge their oppression by oppressing males. Before we know it, we won’t be able to vote, have a career and our lives will consist of only DIY unless they force us to cook and clean as well. A solitary life awaits us. At least the shelf I’ll put up will be on a slant so everything rolls off; that’ll be my revenge.

The world has lost its sense of humour. No longer can we make any sort of joke which promotes an unfair stereotype without being labelled as something ending in -ist. Some might say it’s political correctness gone mad - only idiots will say that though. What I mean is no longer can an ‘important’ or ‘influential’ figure make a joke. Sexism is not allowed if it’s against women but if it’s a woman saying it about men, it’s perfectly acceptable. What a tangled web we weave.

I point to the sacking of Andy Gray and the resignation of Richard Keys after an off-air banter session between “the lads” was let loose. Andy Gray was condemned for his sexist views and later sacked for stupidly suing News of the World which is owned by Rupert Murdoch - who owns BSkyB and paid his wages. The idea that a joke - which was just that - between two friends who were off-air is so heinous raises questions of fairness. Now that Andy Gray has been sacked for this, I expect and want the Loose Women presenters to be sacked. After all, it’s only fair.

The world isn’t fair though, you can only be prejudiced against a certain group and the same rules don’t apply for everyone. The world is double standard. Loose Women is a TV programme based around menopausal women complaining about men, stereotyping men, blaming men for their own poor choices and claiming that this is a “man’s world”. It isn’t. Britain is equal to women now so what are they fighting for? There’s nothing to fight. If they want to complain about every little joke then maybe men should do the same and watch as we’re ridiculed for overreacting.

Women can do what they want, when they want. They can have any job they want and do anything they want without labels for the most part. If a man was to become a nurse, for example, he’d be jokingly called a “murse” and would be discriminated against and subject to sexuality curiosity. How fair. Women can say “I don’t judge like that” but you do, there’s no point in lying. The men judge too and it’s just the way we’ve learnt the common, unwritten rules. Society has dictated selective prejudice as if it was the norm but it clearly shouldn’t be.

Feminism logic is a myth as they have none. My friend once had a YouTube argument - I know, it was his own fault for even attempting that - with who we believed to be a feminist about an innocuous and fair comment. In no way was it derogatory or insulting to women or even feminists but she picked up on a detail that she didn’t like. She argued against pure logic and fact. Men, on average, are physically stronger than women. That’s scientific fact. Yet, she argued against this sweeping “sexist generalisation” and wouldn’t listen to reason. He explained, in detail, that some women are stronger than most men and vice versa but the fact of the matter is that on average, men are stronger, just like they’re taller. None of it went through of course.

Why can’t they accept nature? It’s just natural and they can fight it by sending every single woman to the gym to be body-builder so they tip the average scale but we’d still win if it was measured on natural strength. That’s the thing, feminist can’t accept that they aren’t equal or better in every aspect. They top us in other aspects and other physical attributes and we don’t complain. You never hear a man complaining because they’re not allowed to wear dresses or skirts. If you told a woman not to wear trousers or jeans because they’re “for men”. They’d dropkick you in the bollocks and then argue with you about how child birth is worse and you wouldn’t be able to do a thing.

Let’s move onto violence against women. I see adverts for domestic abuse still, playing the women as the indefinite victim but they aren’t. Men as a victim are laughed at. “What a pussy” is snarled in a snap judgement of arrogance. “I would have hit her back” is another famous one but would you have hit her back? Any form of violence against a woman is considered disgusting and undignified, even if she starts it. Could you hit a woman if she was beating you knowing, full well, the extent of her damage? I know a lot of people couldn’t. Women can argue, bitch, hit and scream all they want to men because they know they’ll get off without a blemish on them. I could literally be battered in town by a woman but if I so much as defended myself, I would be battered for my defence by total strangers; total strangers who would be saving the damsel in distress from such horror. I don’t have any real life experiences of this but a friend of mine, James Beynon, wrote a good and interesting article on it.

Equality comes with a price, quite literally. Women still want chivalry and romance without having to do it themselves but that’ll have to change if they want to be equal. They’ll have to pay, plan things selflessly for their other half and make a relationship and equal partnership and not a one way street of selfish satisfaction. What an awkward change of pace for you ladies. It’s expected of the man to pay for their other half. I personally feel the pressure of this. If I’m out and I let Haz pay for me I feel embarrassed and not worthwhile. Although I’m in an equal paying relationship, I still feel awkward when she pays for me.

You never complain of the biased views towards you there. Let’s take Shelias’ Wheels car insurance as an example. It’s an insurance company for women only because women deserve the cheaper prices. If I opened a car insurance for men named “Studs’ Wheels” or something equally repulsive, there’d be an uproar because it caters for men only; how grossly inappropriate. If I had started that company before Diamond and Shelias’ Wheels, it probably would have been forced to give women car insurance or to stop practising because that’s how it works.

Before anyone accuses me of being sexist, I’m really not. I’m all for equality and I’m against all forms of prejudice but selective prejudice is the worst. This article isn’t an attack on women but an attack on the gender domination fight. Give up. Let’s have peace among the genders. Here, we’ve reached equality so let’s just leave it at equal. No one wants a bra burning for men with their “boxers of oppression”. I still don’t understand how a bra burning stood for women rights…
